At what has become a very popular fund raiser, K.E.E.P., Inc. recently held its second Art and Brew Night.
Ten ladies and one brave male (AKA Richard Dahn) spent an evening, each creating a painting from “scratch” which they took home. Liz Dwyer, Instructor/owner of Art and Brew, worked with the group to create the evening’s project, a picture of two birds on a branch silhouetted against a backdrop of clouds and blue sky. No art experience is necessary at Art and Brew Nights and all skill levels are welcome.
All art materials are provided but the Brew is bring your own. A third Art and Brew Night may be forthcoming. K.E.E.P. is Sussex County’s largest non-profit child care provider. Executive Director Christine Milligan said, “Fund raising is an important part of our ability to provide affordable child care for Sussex County parents. Art and Brew Nights are great fun, everyone gets to take their own masterpiece home and they have the satisfaction of knowing they are supporting a great cause. We haven’t set a date for a third night but anyone who is interested in attending should call our office at 973-383-2213 and ask to be put on an interest list.”
