Thank you Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council for supporting, encouraging, and strengthening the visual, musical and theatrical arts in Sussex County.
Thank you for helping to make art resources available to all: the young, old, handicapped, developing artists, or part-time enthusiasts, everyone that wishes to include some art in their life. Thank you SCAHC for continuing to be there for us in spite of being understaffed, underfunded, and underappreciated. Thank you for attaining funding for the many musical, visual, social, theatrical, and historic organizations or programs that are supported by grants that you secured. Thank you for keeping the history of Sussex County an active part of county life. Thank you for being there, for working so hard so that others can have a respite.
Though we are all tired of pleas from the seemingly endless list of charities and organizations seeking our giving spirits during the giving season; it indeed seems appropriate that at this time of year others should give to you. It’s your annual fund drive time and you ask, courteously and almost shyly, for support so that you can continue to support others. Your website www.scahc.org explains much; there viewers can peruse some of the community activities orbiting SCAHC. That donate button is there, but, before you hit it, jot down the dates of some of the events and maybe we’ll see you at the next art opening reception. The receptions are free, provide snacks, and have great art.
