William 'Bill' Altamura

William “Bill” Altamura, 57 years old, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Morristown Medical Center. Born to Frank and Doris Altamura in Englewood, N.J., he has lived in Highland Lakes, N.J. for many years.
Bill worked as an electrician for many years with his father for Altamura Electric in Highland Lakes, N.J. He was a member of the Holy Counselor Lutheran Church in Vernon, N.J., enjoyed skiing, playing softball and fishing with his friends. Bill was an avid New York Giants and New York Mets fan.
Bill is predeceased by his father, Frank Altamura and is the devoted son of Doris Altamura of Highland Lakes, N.J. Loving father of William J. Altamura. Dear brother of Frank Altamura and his wife, Trice. Uncle of Kevin and Bryan.
The family will receive their friends at Holy Counselor Lutheran Church, 68 Sand Hill Road, Vernon, NJ on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial service to follow at the church at 11 a.m. Cremation by Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ is private.
