The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce welcomed nine new companies to the organization at a recent Business to Business Breakfast held at The Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta.
"We’re pleased to welcome our new members” said Tammie Horsfield, President of the Chamber. “Our goal is to help these businesses achieve their goals.”
"We are excited to join the Sussex County Chamber,” said David Ferguson of Valley Paint & Hardware. “We are looking forward to meeting all the members and developing great relationships helping each other grow."
As members, area businesses have access to several benefits available through the Chamber including networking events, seminars, professional development, six local Chamber Councils, and marketing and promotional opportunities. Members can also get involved with the Chamber’s numerous committees, which include Government/Legislative Affairs, Human Resources Development, Women in Business and Young Professionals. Committee participation is a great way for company representatives to have a voice in the activities of the organization and to network with peers.
