Chili Bowl planned at VFW post

VERNON — The Wallkill Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8441 will host a its Great Chili Bowl competition on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 1-3 p.m. at the post, 313 Route 94 in Vernon.
A maximum number of 20 competitors will be participating. The event is sponsored by the post's auxiliary.
For more information, call the post at 973-764-9380 and there will be a $10 table to enter. The cost will be $5 per person to taste the entries.
