Friends of Library plan singalong

WANTAGE — The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will host a ‘Beach Party Sing-Along’ on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the library’s community room.
Featuring songs from Jimmy Buffet, the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Tom Lehrer, and others, the sing-along will surely warm your spirits and shake off the winter doldrums. Lyrics will be provided so everyone can join in. If you have a musical instrument, bring it and play along. Participants are also invited to wear Hawaiian shirts, sun hats, and other theme-inspired attire.
Following a successful seasonal sing-along in December, January’s ‘Beach Party Sing-Along’ is the first in a series of monthly sing-alongs planned by the Friends of the Library for 2017. This free program is for all ages.
No registration is required.
