Area natives plan wedding

It is with great excitement that Karen and Jerry Jicha, of Highland Lakes, N.J., and Sue and Tom Oceanak, of Hamburg, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Megan Jicha and Tommy Oceanak. Both raised in Vernon, N.J., the couple currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif.
The bride-to-be graduated from Vernon Township High School in 2005, and from Northeastern University in 2010. She is currently a copywriter at T. Rowe Price.
The groom-to-be graduated Vernon Township High School in 2005, from Rowan University in 2009, and earned his Master’s Degree form Chapman University in 2015. He is currently a freelance cinematographer.
A New Jersey wedding is planned.
