The date for the 2017 annual K.E.E.P. Kamikaze Cook-Off has been set for Wednesday, March 8.
For anyone wondering what a Kamikaze Cook-Off entails, Executive Director Christine Milligan explains. “The Cook-Off is a fun night of good food and good times to benefit the children of Sussex County. Attendees enjoy a great Japanese dinner prepared by a hibachi chef but they also have the fun of cooking alongside the professional.” The event is held at 6:30 p.m. at HaLuLu Restaurant located in the Byram ShopRite Plaza, 90 Route 206, Stanhope.
The meal includes choice of chicken, steak, salmon or shrimp, soup and salad, soda and dessert. BYOB. The cost is $55 per person or $550 for a table of ten. Milligan continued, “Some people like to get a group together to fill up a table but individuals, couples and smaller groups are always a large part of the mix so come on out and have some fun!”
