Vernon Pack 404 Den 4 Webelos, had a demonstration and lesson from the Glenwood Pochuck Ambulance Squad. Tammy Benanti, Glenwood's EMT, helped the Webelos with their rank of First Responder.
The boys learned the signs of a stroke and heartache, which they practiced CPR. The scouts were to take away from these lessons: Essential First Aid Skills, essential personal safety skills, understanding of the role of the First Responder in the community, and a scout is brave, courteous.
