Art Etc. plans basic drawing class

NEWTON — Art Etc. will host a basic drawing class on Saturdays from 1-3 p.m.
This class is for all levels of drawing ability. Maybe you are feeling cautious about drawing. Maybe you've never drawn before, or, you did drawings long ago but something or someone discouraged you and you stopped.
In Basic Drawing students will work with pencil, charcoal, graphite, and conte crayon.Learning to use line, value, and perspective with a variety of subjects, including, still life,landscape, from both real objects and photographs. Basic drawing skills and techniques are accomplished through exercises that will acquaint you with drawing materials, and elements of art so that confidence is gained early on.
