    Betsy A. Romlein, 65, of Vernon Township, NJ., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017.
    She was born on Jan. 13, 1952, in Long Branch, NJ to Roger and Doris (Jones) Cole.
    Betsy married Richard Romlein in 1978 and together they raised their three daughters in Chester, N.J.
    Betsy was a Boston Terrier enthusiast.
    She will best be remembered as a devoted mother, not only to her children, but to all of her children’s friends, as well as her compassion for all animals.
    She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard, in 2004.
    Betsy is survived by her loving daughters Heather and Holly Romlein, both of Vernon, N.J., and Kelly Romlein of Wantage, N.J.., her cherished granddaughter Rhaya M. Werner, and her dear brother Roger Cole, III, of Vernon, N.J.
    A memorial visitation celebrating Betsy’s life will take place on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place).
