Francisco E. Alegre

Francisco E. Alegre, age 82, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at his residence in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. Born in San Juan, Paraguay, to the late Miguel and Arminda (Molinas) Alegre, Frank lived in New City, New York, before moving to Dingmans Ferry, Pa., 15 years ago. He had been a self-employed upholsterer and most recently retired from the Fabric Tree located in Newton, where he was the head upholsterer. Frank is survived by his son, Francisco J. Alegre of Paraguay; his daughter, Alba Martinez of Wantage; his sister, Lelia Alegre of Paraguay; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Arianna, and Tachyana Anias Milagros. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at St. Monica R.C. Church, 33 Unionville Avenue, Sussex. Private cremation services will follow at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
