Comelia M. Sommers

Cornelia M. Sommers (nee Housel), 86 passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017. Cornelia was born on March 14, 1930, in the Netherlands, arriving in the United States in 1948 settled in Elmwood Park and later to Highland Lakes.
Cornelia is survived by daughter, Wendy Nagle, her loving and caring grandsons; Jeremy Nagle of Highland Lakes, Jesse Nagle and his wife Megan of Fair Haven, Cole Nagle of Highland Lakes and Frank Nicastro and his wife, Stephanie, of Sayreville, and two great-grandchildren; Frankie and Madison Nicastro, and a sister, Ursula, and a cousin, Helmut Brach, and her two cats Taboo and Spooky.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., funeral services at 12:30 p.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.).
