Vernon names athletes of the week

VERNON — The Vernon Township High School Athletic Dept. named its athletes of the week for Week 8 of the winter season.
Freshmen Kyle Hayes has been a big reason for the Boys Ski Team’s success this season. Kyle recently finished second in his last Slalom race and leads the team in overall points as the regular season comes to a close. According to Assistant Coach Ludeking, Kyle is extremely talented and dedicated. The boys team qualified for the State Tournament.
Sophomore Tea Brich has placed Top 3 in all of the Girls Ski Team’s races last week. She has been a major contributor to the Girls Team making the State Championships. Tea has consistently been in the Top 3 overall point standings in the state of NJ.
According to Assistant Coach Ludeking, Tea is a tremendous leader and role model for the Ski Program.
