Painting workshop planned at library

WANTAGE — The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will sponsor an “Art with the Brit Lady’ painting workshop on Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to noon in the library’s community room.
Local artist Sally Stansfield will be on hand for two hours of fun learning some acrylic painting techniques. No experience needed. If you do not think you can paint, Sally will prove you can. This is a step-by-step class and you will go home with a piece ready to frame. The project theme will be the seashore in spring.
This program is for adults. Sign up at the Sussex-Wantage Library only. Stop by the circulation desk or call the library at 973-875-3940 and ask to be registered. A $5 materials fee will be collected at the beginning of the class.
