Joe Zisa & Friends to play Italian Night Dinner Dance

VERNON — Back by popular demand, Italian Night Dinner Dance with live entertainment by Joe Zisa & Friends Doo Wop Band will be held on April 22.

Buy tickets now as last year’s dinner dance was completely sold out and seating is limited. Those who attended last overwhelmingly asked on their way out for a repeat performance of this best Doo Wop band in New Jersey. Joe Zisa & Friends have rave reviews and sellout crowds.
The Brownstone Restaurant of Paterson, N.J., will cater the buffet dinner with four delicious all-you-can-eat entrees. The event will be held at St. Francis deSales Church at 614 Route 517, Vernon, NJ, at 6 p.m.
Tickets for this four-course, all-you-can eat buffet dinner with five entrees and fabulous entertainment is just $50 per person. The four-course dinner will consist of fresh fruit; appetizers that include meats, cheeses, and olives; fresh bread and butter; garden salad; tomato and mozzarella salad; pasta; five hot entrees; beverages; dessert; and coffee and tea. The buffet entrees are chicken marsala, grilled beef tips with artichokes and potatoes, Italian Meatballs, Rigatoni with Tomato and Basil Sauce, and Eggplant Rolletini. This is a BYOB event.
Joe Zisa & Friends will perform from 6-10 p.m. The members of the group grew up in Paterson and were original founding members of such popular Doo Wop bands as The Duprees and The Happenings. New Jerseyans, and especially those from the Paterson area, will recognize their distinct “Jersey Sound.” Falsetto Tommy Bialoglow, original co-founder of The Duprees, still plays with Joe Zisa & Friends today and was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame with The Duprees in 2006. The Happenings were awarded a Gold Record for their hit “See You in September.”
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served promptly. The entertainment and dancing will continue throughout the night. Tickets are $50 per person.
