Vernon crushes DV in lacrosse

Pa. — Vernon Township High School (Glenwood, N.J.) defeated Delaware Valley High School (Milford, Pa.) in boys varsity lacrosse on Saturday, April 8. The final score was 12-2.
Jeff Sedlock scored four goals and made two assists for Vernon. Cole Genneken added three goals and two assists and Patrick Graham finished with two goals and an assist. Zack Blango also contributed a goal and an assist for Vernon.
Goalkeeper Mike Alvarez stopped six shots for Vernon.
Josh Balcarcel scored the first goal for Delaware Valley with 1:19 left in the second period. Dan Matarazzo scored the second goal for DV with an assist by Rhett Padgett.
Goal keeper Bryce Haraldsen stopped 12 shots for Delaware Valley.
Team records: Delaware Valley Warriors 4-2. Vernon Vikings 3-1.
