Barry Lakes plans garage sale

VERNON — On April 29 and 30, rain or shine, all bargain hunters and treasure seekers are invited to peruse the wares of almost 20 households during the Barry Lakes Community Garage Sale.
The Barry Lakes Community, which is adjacent to Highland Lakes, and bordered by Warwick, N.Y., and Wawayanda State Park, will provide a map and list of the participating homes to anyone who wishes to do a little rummaging. The map and list can be picked up at the Barry Lakes Clubhouse.
On the Saturday and Sunday of the garage sales, the map and list will be available outside the clubhouse — not inside. During the week prior to the event, a map and list will be available at the clubhouse office during normal hours of operation. The clubhouse is located at 76 Wawayanda Road, north of Canistear and Breakneck Roads. Office hours are Monday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information, call the office at 973-764-6262.
