Tea party honors former auxiliary members

WANTAGE — A tea party was held at the Beemerville Fire Hall to honor and show appreciation to the former auxiliary members who served their community by supporting the Wantage Volunteer Fire Department.
The event, organized by secretary Cathie Mezger and catered by Between the Bread in Newton, allowed time for old friends to reminisce about past events. The auxiliary participates in important fundraising activities as well as supporting members during fire calls.
New members are always welcome and are encouraged to attend our regular monthly meetings held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Simply show up or call president, Sharon at 973-864-7858.
