Medicine Wheel festival planned for this weekend

    The 9th Annual Medicine Wheel Festival and Community Garden Celebration will be held on the scenic grounds of Lusscroft Farm in Wantage on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21,, from 10 a.m. until dusk both days.
    This fun, family-friendly event features local artisans, crafters, carriage rides, food, garden tours, plant sale, bake sale, workshops, seminars, demonstrations, a pop up art gallery and a full live music schedule on both days.
    New additions to the festival this year are the Lusscroft Barn Sale and the Annual Benefit Photography Competition. A historical house tour is scheduled for Sunday only of the Turner Mansion, the Manager’s Dwelling, and the Root Cellar.

Lusscroft Farm is located at 50 Neilson Road, Wantage, however the parking entrance to the event will be from Sussex County Route 519 at mile marker 81 – by the stone Lusscroft gatehouse. There is a suggested donation of $7 per adult; children are free. Funds raised go to restoration of the gardens and buildings at historic Lusscroft Farm, which is affiliated with High Point State Park. Presented by the all volunteer, non-profit Heritage and Agriculture Association, in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry, working together to restore Lusscroft Farm.
