    — There are great local things happening every day: Festivals and fairs, breweries, wine tastings, poetry nights, art galleries, yoga classes and more.
Now it’s easier than ever to discover them.
Recently launched website Route94.com is the ultimate community calendar that covers many of the vibrant communities that run along the road its named for.
Searchable by town and interest—kid-friendly, green, arts, entertainment and more, Route94.com aims to drive more foot-traffic to local businesses and provide locals with a comprehensive collection of things to do on any given day.
So if you ever find yourself searching for something to do with the kids, or where to go for a great night out for dinner and music, you now have a collection of local options to choose from right at your fingertips.
The new site is owned by Straus News, which publishes this newspaper, and a number of others throughout the region.
“We’ve always been committed to providing our readers with information about their communities, from hard news to local entertainment,” said publisher Jeanne Straus. “We’re really excited to be bringing people even more great information about what’s going on in their hometowns with Route94.com.”
Event venues and organizers may post to the site for free and have the option to pay to feature either an individual event or even become a featured venue with their own page that lists all their upcoming events.
