Library plans domation program

WANTAGE — The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library’s Gift Book Program is providing a way to honor someone special while also helping your library.
Here’s how it works: When you make a monetary donation to the gift book program, the library is able to purchase a book for its collection. You may donate to the library’s general fund or designate a specific category of book such as children’s, large print, non-fiction, etc.
You tell us the name of the honoree, and we will send an acknowledgement letter that a book has been donated to the library in their name. In the case of a memorial donation, we will send an acknowledgement to the family. If you wish, a bookplate will be placed in the book honoring your friend or loved one.
Forms are available on the Friends website (friendsofswlibrary.org) and at the library’s circulation desk. Certificates are available at the circulation desk if you would like to make a personal presentation of your gift. Donations are tax deductible.
