Peter Case to kick off concert series

The Highland Lakes Concert Series at Seckler Stage kicks off its 2017 season with two successive Saturday night shows on June 17 and June 23.
On June 17, Seckler Stage will present Peter Case, a Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter and guitarist whose multi-decade career has ranged from front man of ’80s jangle pop heroes the Plimsouls to full-throated band leader and solo acoustic troubadour.
With a knack for great melodic storytelling and blessed with a golden throat, Case’s appearance on Seckler Stage promises to be nothing short of memorable. To hear his music, go to http://petercase.com/music/. Opening act Ron Renninger is a highly accomplished folk musician and Vernon resident.
On June 23, Highland Lakes welcomes Project Grand Slam for its first appearance on Seckler Stage. PGS is a New York-based jazz rock fusion band with a twist of classic and Latin that formed in 2007. Ticket prices for both shows are $15 for members-in-good-standing and their guests, It will be $20 for non-members. Doors open at 7 p.m., and show starts at 8 p.m.
