Lake Mohawk Golf Club is very pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph T. Mucerino, Jr. as new Executive Chef.
Chef Mucerino brings more than 30 years of fine dining and catering experience in widely-acclaimed establishments to his role at the golf club. He has extensive knowledge of food and wine pairing, as well as spectacular presentation talents.
The talented chef was trained at the distinguished Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Previously, he served as Executive Chef at Cinque Figlie Ristorante and Executive Sous Chef at Il Capriccio Ristorante.
In his role at Lake Mohawk Golf Club, Chef Mucerino will oversee all fine and casual dining, wine selections, and special event catering. The Chef has designed completely new menus featuring what he calls a fusion of classical Italian, French, and Continental cuisines for the club.
He adds his flair for fun with his delicious, swan-shaped pastries served during the club’s recent Mother’s Day Brunch and more casual menu for the Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Chef Mucerino says he “takes pride in cooking the only way: from scratch, and our members and their guests taste the difference.” He prides himself on combining the finest ingredients, time honored techniques, modern tastes, and great recipes.
Lake Mohawk Golf Club General Manager, Steven Demmer, PGA, adds “we are very pleased to have Chef Mucerino and his Old-School cooking join our team. Our club is busy and growing, so it is nice to take a fresh look at our menus and expand them with style. There is something for everyone here from our famous Mohawk Prime Rib, Dry-aged Steak, Alaskan King Crab, and Clam Bake Evenings, BBQs and a la carte dinners, and our new chef is making each event more special. We’re all very pleased to welcome him.”
Lake Mohawk Golf Club is open to new members from all towns through a variety of social and golf memberships starting at $250/year.
