Woman's Club completes bra collection

VERNON — The Vernon Township Woman's Club bra collection project for "Free the Girls" has come to an end.
The group has far surpassed its goal of 500 by collecting a total of 1,568 bras for survivors of sex trafficking. On Monday night, it took 8 women about 2 1/2 hours to pack 23 boxes which were shipped to Free the Girls headquarters in Indiana.
