Girl Scout project highlights Sussex Stories

SUSSEX — In a Girl Scout Gold Award project aimed at increasing pride in Sussex County through awareness of its history, High Point Regional High School Senior Cassidy Shrope scanned and published hundreds of historical photos of Sussex County from the collection of and with the help of Wayne McCabe of Newton.
In addition to interviews of lifelong residents collected by members of the Social Studies National Honor Society at High Point, photos can be accessed at http://sussexstories.shrope.com and are currently on display in High Point High School’s media center.
