Wantage man faces child endangerment charge

FRANKLIN — A wantage man faces charges after Franklin Borough police investigated a complaint of child endangerment in the borough.
Julio C. Lorente, III, 19, ofWantage was charged with child endangerment.
A juvenile, 13 or younger, reported receiving inappropriate message requests from a 19-year-old man from Wantage. The complainant indicated that the juvenile received the messages from the 19-year-old male, via messaging applications.
An investigation into the matter resulted in the arrest of Lorente, who police allege to have made inappropriate requests to the 13-year-old child, and further alleged to have had inappropriate contact with the child.
Lorente was charged with child endangerment and released pending a first appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.
