Locals travel to support drug prevention

VERNON — More than 160 people met in East Windsor to support drug prevention efforts in our state.
Representing and celebrating Sussex County- Vernon Coalition members; Rosemary Gebhardt- Walnut Ridge Principal, Janet Kubik-Vernon Coalition Chair, Matthew and Michael Kubik-Above the Youth Group members. They were joined by Vernon Coalition Senior Coordinator, Rebecca Dorney and by Blaze Dorney & Melissa Weaver, Vernon Coalition Youth Group Staff.
Also attending were Nick Loizzi, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Director & Municipal Alliance Coordinator & Annmarie Shafer-Regional Coalition Coordinator. The agenda included big shout outs to New Jersey for the passion and work that prevention people (that’s all of us!) offer to making our state a great place to live.
