Hamburg School kindergarten, pre-K registration available during summer

HAMBURG — Hamburg School is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the summer for kindergarten or pre-k registrations.
All children who live in Hamburg and will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2017 are eligible for kindergarten in September 2017.
Children in Hamburg and the surrounding area who are at least 3 years old and potty-trained are eligible for the pre-K program, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
At the time of registration, parents must present the child’s original birth certificate (showing raised seal), documented proof of child’s immunizations, recent physical and two proofs of residency, such as a tax bill, lease agreement, utility bill or bank statement. Children don't need to be present with parents at time of registration.
The school nurse will be on hand to review immunization and health information.
