Members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America have kicked off a community service project called the FBLA Cupboard.
The goal of the FBLA Cupboard is to serve the community and to help build a stronger student body.
The FBLA Cupboard will provide selective food items donated from various organizations within the high school, Hamburg School students and personnel and members within the community. This pantry serves as an opportunity to directly impact our district families, according to the FBLA.
A goal of the project focuses on setting up a monthly private time period for families and individuals to gain access to The FBLA Cupboard through June.
The FBLA Cupboard is located in I Hall at the high school; The Cupboard will be open on Friday, July 21, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
