Congressman Josh Gottheimer, NJ-5, visited the New Jersey State Fair, where he presented a flag and certification to Sussex County's "Senior of the Year" Aldo Sayre, a Navy veteran from Branchville. Gottheimer also greeted and thanked veterans at the veterans tent and stopped by the Quilts of Valor and the honoring safe drivers ceremony.

"There is no greater responsibility than that we owe to those who have given so much to us. Sussex County seniors and veterans have made invaluable contributions to our Jersey communities, so I'm happy to be able to take today to celebrate with them and honor Aldo Sayre in particular," said Gottheimer. "The Sussex County Fair is one of my favorite New Jersey traditions."
