Virginia T. Menzella

Virginia T. Menzella, 94, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 at her home in Shohola, Pa. Mrs. Menzella, daughter of the late Daniel and Augustine (Philion) Menzella was born in New York City March 4, 1923. She had resided in the Glenwood section of Vernon for 40 years moving to Shohola 2 years ago.
Mrs. Menzella worked for Gimbels in New York City for 25 years.
A caring and loving mother to her family and friends, she was predeceased by her brother, George Pacella and is survived by her daughters, Helene Menzella of Shohola, PA and Linda Menzella of Shohola, PA; grandchildren, Jelena Alonso, Jon Paul Alonso and Jennifer Augustin; great grandchildren, Landon Augustin and Gianna Augustin as well as her niece and nephews, Jackie May, George Pacella and Daniel Pacella.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at 9 a.m. from Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) Vernon to St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon.
