Project Help holds school supply drive

    As return to school approaches, Project Help wants to be sure that the children of our Veterans have what they in the way of supplies.
    This is the third year they are conducting this drive and are happy to report that each year has gotten bigger and better.
    School supply lists are available in all of the stores and each purchase is greatly appreciated. Shopping on Amazon? Here’s what to do. Go to https://www.myregistry.com/organization/Brian-Beck-Sussex-Nj/1417701 and order from then items on the list or select whatever you would like and have it sent to Project Help, 55 Bank St., Sussex NJ 07461. Brian Beck is the board secretary who set up the Amazon shopping registry.
    If you prefer, shop locally that’s perfectly fine as well. All of the stores have school supply lists you can refer to. Mark you purchase with the grade you shopped for if known. Donations can be dropped off at Project Help, 55 Bank St., Sussex, NJ 07461. “Just give us a call to let us know you are coming by with donations. Our number is 973-875-2068 or you can shoot us an email Sandy@mitchellclan.com” said Sandy Mitchell, Executive Director of Project Help.
    Should you prefer to just make a donation for supplies and let them do the shopping, you can go to: https://schoolsuppliesforvetkids.eventbrite.com and select the amount you would like to contribute or enter you own amount. Project Help will do the shopping for you.
    The last day for drop off is on Sept. 5. The backpacks will then be assembled and delivered to Catholic Charities in Franklin where veterans and pick them up at no cost. Or vets can contact Project Help at 973-875-2068 and pick up back packs in Sussex.
