Hatred shouldn't be allowed to fester

We can all make a difference in making this a better and kinder world. We are all flawed and imperfect, but we can all strive to do better. All it takes is a willingness to do so. The words “I am sorry” and “I forgive you” are so powerful. Can you imagine the effect they could have if more of us would try to incorporate them into our lives?
Hatred should never be condoned or allowed to fester, as it is evil and can bring down a society. An extreme example of this were the slanderous comments that were written on the diner in Wantage against those of the Jewish faith and the destruction the vandals caused due to their belief that they are of a superior race. We must all do our part in denouncing these actions. Bigotry is so detrimental to everyone. Fortunately, love is a much stronger force than hate. We must always remember we are all one people under God. We are all equal. No one and no race is superior to another.
We are all in our own life’s book. Some of us may even be in the final chapter. Change must begin with us. Then one person at a time. It’s within all of our grasps; we just need to take hold of it. We can do it.
