Tri-State Classic Race welcomes all runners

PORT JERVIS — The annual Tri-State Classic strives to be the perfect race for new and experienced runners alike.
It courses along the Delaware River in Port Jervis and Matamoras, and then back along the Neversink River, through Laurel Grove Cemetery, and past historic landmarks.
Race registration is at the corner of Fowler Street and Jersey Avenue in Port Jervis. The finish line will be in Riverside Park, 4 St. and Railroad Ave., Port Jervis. Registration is from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. on race day, Sunday, Oct. 29. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 10K at 9 a.m.
The entry fee is as follows:
Pre-registered runners: $25
Race day registration: $35
The fincludes registration for one for the race, and a T-shirt for the first 200 pre-registered runners.
