Michael J. Esposito

Michael J. Esposito, age 59, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at his home in Wantage. Born in Fair Lawn to the late Frank and Shirley Esposito, Mike grew up in Hamburg and had lived in Sussex County for most of his life. He had been employed as a lineman for Century Link in Lafayette for the past 30 years and was a member of the IBEW #827. Mike was an avid woodcarver and gardener and enjoyed reading various books. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Renee (Craig) Esposito; his devoted daughters, Lauren Esposito and Jillian Esposito both of Wantage; his mother-in-law, Frances Craig of Wantage; his brother, Joseph Esposito of Hamburg; his sister, Laurie Ann Taylor of North Carolina; and his cherished pet, Bella. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Friends may pay their respects to the family prior to the service on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation services have been held at the convenience of the family.
