Charles Janus

Charles Janus, 74, passed away on Sunday October 29, 2017. Charles was born on March 4, 1943 in Manhattan, N.Y. He grew up in Garfield and has been a resident of Vernon Township since 1977.
Charles worked in construction for Local 79 in New York City, NY for 30 years and retired 14 years ago.
Charles was predeceased by his mother Veronica Tramaloni.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Laura (nee Barca) Janus, and his devoted sons, Joe Janus and his wife Kristin, Charles A. Janus and his wife Nicole, and Jason Janus and his companion Stefanie, and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Dayne, Samantha, Mason and Brayden.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Court), on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 4-9 p.m. The family will gather at funeral home on Friday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. for a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial service at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church Highland Lakes, N.J., committal and entombment service at Calvary Cemetery Paterson, N.J.
