Philip W. Wesighan, Sr. age 58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Newton, Phil was raised in Franklin and Vernon and made his way across America before moving back to Sussex County. He was a self-employed Master Mechanic and was known to everyone as Phil’s Mechanic. He lived life his way, giving of his heart to his friends and family. Phil was predeceased by his father, Lester William Wesighan. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Littell Wesighan of Franklin; his son, Philip W. Wesighan, Jr. of Wantage; his daughter, Melanie Sattaur and her husband Steffan of San Diego, CA; his brothers, Robert Wesighan and his wife Robin of Cottonwood, Arizona and Alfred Wesighan and his wife Wendy of Sandyston; his sister, Wendy Giacobbe and her husband Richard of Point Pleasant; and many beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
