Daniel Howard O'Neill

    Daniel Howard O’Neill, 81 years old, died after a long illness at Morristown Medical Center on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017. Born to Martin T. and Elizabeth O’Neill in New York City, N.Y.,, he had lived in Queens, N.Y., before moving to the Lake Glenwood section of Vernon Twp., NJ 30 years ago.
    Daniel started working as a travelling textile salesman and then worked as an MTA Bus Driver in the Bronx and then worked as a maintenance mechanic for the Building Engineers Local 94, NYC, NY retiring in 2007. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon, NJ, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid golfer.
    Daniel is predeceased by his wife, Margaret O’Neill(2012) and 3 brothers, John, Martin and Eugene O’Neill and is the dear brother of Frank O’Neill and his wife, Marie of Greenwood Lake, NY. Cherished by several stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews.
    Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon, NJ. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, N.J.
