James C. Kyle, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at his home. Mr. Kyle, son of the late Charles and Catherine (Carey) Kyle was born in Jersey City August 25, 1937. He resided in Wayne before moving to Wantage Twp. 47 years ago.
Mr. Kyle was a grocery manager for Food Town Stores in both Haledon and Cedar Grove retiring in 1999 after 49 years of employment. He was a volunteer for the National Park Service at Millbrook Village for 28 years. Mr. Kyle also demonstrated how to make wagon wheels for the Agricultural Society at the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show.
Mr. Kyle was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by 2 children, Catherine Kyle and Kuhrt Kyle. Mr. Kyle is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Osmun) Kyle; children, Debra Azzollini of Milford, Pa., Carmine Villani of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Joseph Villani of Moorestown, N.J.; brother, Gerald Kyle of Sarasota, Fla., and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third St., Sussex from 2-4 7 7-8:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. Cremation will be private. For directions and online condolences, please see www.fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com.
