Chris Pomante to play library

| 17 Nov 2017 | 03:12

The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will present a concert by classical guitarist Chris Pomante on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 3 p.m. in the library’s community room.
Chris will perform a range of music styles — from Spanish composers like Francisco Tarrega and Isaac Albéniz to contemporary American pieces by Andy McKee and Spencer Elliott — and will describe the background and styles of the music.
Chris’s love of music started as a child, and he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar performance from William Paterson University. He’s performed with the Garden State Philharmonic, and appeared numerous times at William Paterson’s annual Guitarfest. He also plays with his folk acoustic band, Folk Out Da Way. When he's not performing, Chris teaches guitar full-time at Faith-Center for the Arts and at Olive Tree Music Academy.
This program is for adults and children ages 12 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Free tickets will be available at the Sussex-Wantage Library beginning Saturday, Nov. 25. Please stop by the library or call 973-875-3940 and ask for tickets to be set aside in your name.
