Audrey R. Voightlander

Audrey R. Voigtlander, 81, peacefully passed away on Thursday Nov. 16, 2017 at Newton Medical Center. Mrs. Voigtlander, daughter of the late Henry and Tina Minck was born in Jersey City on Feb. 3, 1936. She has resided in the Barry Lakes section of Vernon for the past 52 years.
Mrs. Voigtlander was a homemaker and a former Brownie & Girl Scout Leader in Barry Lakes. She cherished her time traveling with her husband Walter, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the world.
Mrs. Voigtlander is survived by her husband of 59 years, Walter R. Voigtlander; children, Suzanne Ross and her husband Chris of Franklin and Steven Voigtlander of Middletown, N.Y; grandsons, Christopher Ross & his wife Jessica and Matthew Ross & his girlfriend Megan; great grandson, Jacob Ross and a brother, Gary Minck & his wife Susan of Georgetown, S.C., as well as many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct. Vernon. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon.
