Wantage plans tree lighting

The Wantage Township Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Wantage School on Route 23.

This free community event is sponsored by the Wantage Township Recreation/Parks Advisory Committee and will feature the Sussex Middle School Chorus and the arrival of Santa Claus by fire truck.

Holiday crafts for kids and hot chocolate will be available in the school cafeteria. No tree lighting would be complete without a personal visit with Santa Claus in the school all purpose room.

Please support the Sussex-Wantage PTO and Sussex-Wantage Education Association Holiday Book Fair and Bake Sale while you are there.
