Cedar Mountain students paint kindness rocks

VERNON — In local communities, kindness rocks are painted and hidden around towns to bring smiles to faces. Cedar Mountain Primary School has taken this idea to a different level. Hank Sanders Paving and Excavating donated hundreds of rocks and an amazing project was underway. Each student at Cedar Mountain Primary School painted a rock to share compassion with others. This project was part of many activities that took place during The Week of Respect, led by School Counselor, Mrs. Nicole Keane. On Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, each student placed a painted rock to make Cedar Mountain's Kindness Rock Garden! Our hope is that when visitors, students, faculty, and staff arrive at the school, this special area will welcome all and warm hearts and know that "Cedar Mountain Rocks"!
