Thank you for Halloween party

Thank you Jane Damstra, Michelle Downtain and all the other helpers for the wonderful Halloween party that was enjoyed by many Vernon seniors at the Vernon Senior Center. Jane Damstra created beautiful centerpieces for all the tables that were crafted out of tree branches with crows attached. Absolutely so creative!
We had a wonderful luncheon, prizes were awarded to those with the best costumes, there was a DJ, and even Mayor Harry Shortway got into the holiday spirit dressed in his police uniform and serving pizza to the seniors. We had a large turnout, but I hope in the future more seniors will begin to take advantage of all the events that are constantly taking place at the Vernon Senior Center.
