Jerrold L. Guest

Jerrold L. Guest, Sr., age 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his residence. Born in Sussex to the late Douglas J. Guest, Sr. and Julia (Kent) Guest, Jerry grew up in Sussex County before moving to Port Jervis, New York. He had been a employed as a diesel mechanic for Arthur Trovei & Sons in Port Jervis before his retirement. During his retirement, he enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Brenda J. Guest in 2013 and his son, Jerrold L. Guest, Jr.. He is survived by five brothers, Douglas J. Guest, Jr. of Sparrowbush, NY, Leonard Guest and his wife Deborah of Wantage, Roger L. Guest, Sr. and his wife Louise of Wantage, Walter C. Guest, Sr. of Montague, and James E. Guest and his wife Linda of Branchville; his sisters, Lisa L. Vasilev of Matamoras, PA and Michelle L. Emanuel and her husband Brian of Newton; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A burial of Jerry’s ashes will be interred with his wife and son at 1 p.m. at Clove Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017.
