Attendees will hear from Northern New Jersey's leading experts in real estate and will learn about the risks and rewards of buying foreclosed homes.

Topics covered will include:

Understanding the different types of foreclosure properties

Financing options available for buying foreclosed properties.

Legal risks when purchasing foreclosed homes.

What to expect when buying a foreclosed property

How much below asking price can I go and be considered a serious buyer?

Title Insurance and its importance when buying foreclosures.

Inspections—most concerning issues

Q&A — we'll answer any real estate question you have!

The group has assembled experts in real estate law, lending institutions, title companies, and home inspections to provide a learning forum for our community to learn more about the current market. Attendees will learn what to expect during a foreclosure purchase and will have an opportunity to ask questions to anyone from our panel. Appetizers and refreshments during our meet-and-greet cocktail hour will be provided and attendees will have the chance to win door prizes in our Real Deal Raffle.

“First-time homebuyers, flippers, new investors, renters, or anyone simply looking for a good real estate deal should attend,” said Jeannette Burke, Partner of the Real Deal Team. “Last year’s session was very well-attended and everyone left happy and a little more knowledgeable.”

Admission is free, but space is limited. Anyone interested in attending should call Jeannette Burke at 973-670-1960 to register or go to www.burkesmarketingworks.com to register online.
