Parade grand marshall luncheon planned

FRANKLIN — Betsy (Reilly) Sutherland has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the 15th Annual Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
“I am deeply humbled to be honored by the Parade Committee to lead their 15th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Sussex County,” stated Mrs. Sutherland. “Having the parade fall on actual St. Patrick’s Day will make it extra special this year.”
The 15th Annual Grand Marshal’s Luncheon honoring Betsy Sutherland, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 2-5 p.m. at the Irish Cottage Inn located at 602 Route 23 North, Franklin, New Jersey. The Grand Event includes entertainment, recognition of our Grand Marshal and lots of great craic; including a Tricky Tray and a Fifty/Fifty Raffle. The traditional presentation of the Grand Marshal’s Sash will follow. It has become a practice that the Grand Marshal designates a charity to receive the net proceeds of the St. Patrick’s Day charitable events. Accordingly, Betsy chose Birth Haven as the 2018 beneficiary.
