Chill out and experience the thrills of the Wild West at Skyland Stadium Event Center's Frozen in Ice: Wild West.
Open on select dates from Jan. 27-Feb. 25, families can discover their inner cowboy or cowgirl in a breathtaking, life-sized village made entirely out of ice by the amazing ice artists at Sculpted Ice Works. Ticket prices range from $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger, seniors and veterans. Discount promotions and additional information can be found at SkylandsStadium.com. Everyone is encouraged to dress warmly.
Over 100 tons of ice were used to create this rugged, selfie-friendly town. Inside, the Event Center, discover everything that's expected in a western village including an ice jail, trading post, candy store, bank and even a saloon full of signature hot and cold thirst-quenching concoctions. Along with boasting an assortment of carnival games, thrill seekers can take a ride down a one-of-a-kind 50-foot ice slide! This centerpiece attraction will be accompanied by a kids' ice slide for young buckaroos who want to experience the excitement too. Plus remarkable animal sculptures can be found on this frozen prairie.
The time-traveling escapades continue outside on the Event Center's pavilion where cowboys and cowgirls can ice skate on a new never-melt ice rink that is made of synthetic ice. Families can warm up by making their own tasty treats at the S'mores Fire Pit, sponsored by thorLabs. Also on select days, professional ice carving demonstrations will take place.
The stadium is located at 94 Championship Place.
