Vernon native completes basic training

VERNON — Pvt. Jeffrey Cox, 18 if Highland Lakes, completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at Marine Corp Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC. PVT. Cox graduated on Jan. 12, 2018. Following 10 days home on leave, he reported to Camp LeJuene for one month of Military Combat Training.
After completion Pvt. Cox will then report to Military Occupation Specialty School.
